 I have been in education since 1972 as an English teacher, special education teacher and administrator. I started my teaching career in Australia and then my home state of Kansas before moving to Utah in 1980. I was an assistant principal at Brighton and Copper Hills High Schools prior to being assigned to my dream job in 1998 as principal of Valley High School. My son, Ben, was a 2006 graduate of Valley. My daughter, Annie, lives and goes to graduate school in Philadelphia. I love spending time with my wife, Pat and enjoy golf, skiing, playing my guitar and walking my Border Collie, Miles.
